My Decision Making Model

It's funny how decision making changes over time. I look back to when I attended my only sememster of college after high school. My decision making process was a "fly by the seat of my pants" type of process. I really didn't think about things before I did them becuase the concequences effected me and only me. Now that I've been an adult for a "few" years, I make very careful decisions becuase the concequences not only effect me, but also my husband and children. I don't sit down and actually make a pro's and con's list, but I do it in my head. But I do find my self making check lists so my decisions can come to fruition. And also, when you get married and have children, not only are you making PERSONAL decisions, you are making decisions that effect your marriage, and when your children are young enough, you are making decisions for them. It's a big part of my life right now, making decisions for me, my relationship and children, but it is worth it, and if you can teach children this process early on they will be able to make more and more of their own decisions.
