Skills Cover Letter
As the oldest of six children, I learned how to be a dependable, loving caretaker early on in my life. I learned how to communicate and teach children, which took me into my teenage years, where I taught at the preschool in my high school, and helped as a teacher’s aide in a local elementary school. My love of reading has given me great communication skills, both written and oral, and being a mother, I feel that I am a great leader, listener and teacher.

Skills Assesment
The skills assesment told me what I already knew. My skills are deffinately geared toward education. The skills assesment showed me how many different skills it is going to take to be a teacher. There are so many.
3 skills I enjoy are: listening, planning, and teaching
3 skills the I do well are: writing, communicating, and problem solving
3 skills I would like to improve: math, persuading, and public speaking
I think the way that I'm going to improve on these skills is to practice, practice, practice. My classes are all going to help with this, but I also believe that my student teaching opportunities are going to help here to. I will be able to learn so much from those teachers that I will associate with when it comes to my student teaching, it is going to be a valuable resource
